Na het grote succes van Noisia's 'Outer Edges' album, kregen we de taak om dit iconische artwork te gebruiken voor de het Remixes album. We kregen echter een grote uitdaging: het artwork moest gebruikmaken van de vorige foto en moest lijken op het origineel zodat fans gelijk konden herkennen dat dit een vervolg is op 'Outer Edges'. We gebruikten hiervoor een van onze eerste ideeën voor het eerste album waarbij Noisia ondergedompeld zou zijn in een veel dikkere zwarte onbekende vloeistof en hebben dmv intens gedetailleerde fotografie en ouderwets tekenwerk met de hand deze illusie tot stand gebracht.
After the huge success of the 'Outer Edges' album, we were tasked to take an already iconic album cover and turn it up a notch with the 'Outer Edges Remixes' album. There was only one catch: we had to work with the original photo to build on the existing knowledge of fans so they would instantly recognize the artwork as a sequel to the original album. We used one of our first ideas for the Outer Edges main artwork where the liquid Noisia would be submerged into was a dark thick oily one and proceeded with photographing this effect and editing the finest details by hand. De special effects voor dit artwork zijn gemaakt dmv het maken en fotograferen van kleine golfjes op een zwarte substantie in de studio / The special effects for this artwork were created by making very small ripples in a small basin so the light would wrap around them and generate these nice lines
